The Parisian apartment décor style is always a mix of old and new. Ornate moldings and herringbone hardwood floor that come original with the buildings, juxtaposed against modern furniture and vintage pieces from the flea market, creating a space that is eclectic and personal.
Colour wise – white and grey are usually the key colours. But you will also find mustard yellow, minty green, electric blue or bright red being used as accent colour in draperies, kitchen backsplash or the bespoke carpentries, adding characters to the space.
Today, I’m sharing a few projects from the Paris-based Camille Hermand Architectures, which all look effortlessly chic and stylish.
♥♥ Bonne Nouvelle – A family apartment in 10th District of Paris ♥♥
What I like about the apartment:
- The glass partition with black metal frame that separates the kitchen and the living area
- The white & blue subway tiles in the bathroom – Subway tiles are currently a hit in Singapore home, consider the dual colour combinations to give a fresher look!
- The no frills wardrobe design, but clad in colours that set the tone of the bedroom
