| The Tiong Bahru Series |

Pre-war architecture and heritage hawkers, along with quaint cafes and new eateries have made Tiong Bahru the much sought-after place to live and work in, a place-to-be for hipsters.

This is the neighborhood that your will find those charming pre-war and post-war flats that were built in the 1930s and 1940s. Their unique Art Deco architecture design is such a gem, and I keep wonder why HDB just don’t continue to build such flats for us in Singapore anymore?

In this series of posts, I will be sharing some of the prettiest renovated Tiong Bahru flats I’ve stumbled online. Hope you like it too!

If you are interested to explore more in-depth on the area, find out more from the National Heritage Board Tiong Bahru Heritage Trail.
