Suar Wood Table Complementing an Industrial Theme Look

I came across this project from a sponsored Facebook post by Wihardja, and thought to share with you too.

A dining table was made from large slab of suar wood anchored to the pillar of the house. Really loving how organic and beautiful the wood is, and it really complements the raw finishing of the pillars and beam of the industrial theme here.

Industrial Meets Glamour | Kensington Townhouse by Suzy Hoodless

Familiar with this wallpaper?

suzy hoodless wallaper 01

This is the Arizona from the range of contemporary floral wallpapers designed by Suzy Hoodless for Osborne & Little.

Suzy Hoodless is a British interior designer who has spent 5 years as Interiors Editor at Wallpaper* magazine, before setting up her design consultancy in year 2000. Besides creating stunning interiors, she also has her own collection of wallpapers for Osborne & Little, a rug collection for The Rug Company, and cashmere blankets for Johnstons of Elgin. (See more of her collection here)

Today let’s look at one of her many beautiful interior design projects.

This is a 6-storey west-London townhouse done in collaboration with Michaelis Boyd Architects.

It is industrial, it is glamorous, it is sexy.  And the book-lined study with the Crittal-style windows and patterned floor tiles  is to die for.

While not all of us have the budget to splurge on every designer pieces seen here, I’m sure you will find some inspirations to introduce a little glam and luxe  to your adobe :)

An Industrial and Eclectic Look for a 5-room HDB Flat by Green And Lush

Following from my previous post, this is another HDB flat done by Green And Lush.

This 5-room flat adorned a “light” industrial and eclectic look that is very popular among the home owners in Singapore now, especially for the younger couples. There are plenty of industrial accents seen here like the cement screed wall and the black track lights. The space is also furnished with mainly wood and metal furniture as well as interesting vintage accessories to complement the look.

It is raw, but still feels personal and cosy as a family home.
