Mim Design | The Colours and Flowers Galore

Springtime hues and the unique floral installation. Isn’t this space breathtakingly beautiful?

Another gorgeous space designed by Mim Design, in collaboration with sustainable designer Joost Bakker, award-winning head chef of Attica, Ben Shewry, restaurateur Neil Perry and landscape designer, Jamie Durie for the Lexus Design Pavilion at Melbourne Cup Carnival 2014.

This is also a finalist in the Installation Design category of the Australian Design Awards 2015 and Dulux Colour Awards 2015.

Colourful Home | Home Sweet Home in Melbourne

Madeleine 03

The background is light and crisp, while the art work, accessories, and pillows add in pops of pastel colours all over the house. It reminds me of the cakes and meringue displayed in a french patisserie, so sweet.

This is the family home of Madeleine Grummet and her husband Jeremy, with their 4 daughters aged between 5 and 13. To read more about their house, go to The Design Files.
